Bought from Lidl in a can. Pretty bog standard stuff. Weak in every area. Weak aroma, weak taste and absolutely no chance of me ever buying it again. Probably not as bad as Fosters/Carling but it just has a nastiness to the flavour that I just can’t put my finger on.

Can from Lidl Wrekenton. Quite a metallic tang to it but aside from that reasonably drinkable

0.5 bottle. Pale yellow color and a small, white head. Aroma of hay, pale malts, and a touch of hops with an unfortunate addition of metallic scents. Taste is simple, very typical, and also tainted with metal. Light body, slick texture, and average carbonation. Finish is short and introduces some cough drops. Overall a standard, commercial brew of which there is loads.

canned; Golden and with light cream head . hay .straw .bread crust citrus woody hops kinda nose but with some metalic emphasis to show German industriousness of factory belts . Clear yellow decent White lacing foam. Barley aroma and quite nice taste for the price paid for this. (Velp 201409) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned standard lager for the Lidl supermarkets, malt sweetness, bit corn-like, thin mouthfeel, not much happening in the rest of the palate except for a light, brief, unambitious hoppiness late into the finish. Very dull.

Can - pours pale golden with a big bubbly white head. Good retention, weak lacing. Aroma of barley, hay and grass. Taste is grass, barley and a medium bitterness. Lots of lagery malts. A little sweetness and a little bit warming. Medium body, light carbonation.

Bottle: Golden, visible carbonation, clear, big rocky white head, mild sweetish-grainy nose with a - mild as well - "strawy-hoppy" touch; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, but not watery and pretty soft; shy and dry citrussy and bitter finish. Tame, but better than expected…
