COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A very light citrus beer, a thirst-quencher! Made from pale malt and torrefied wheat. Bobek and Progress hops give this beer its citrus taste. Late-hopped with Bobek for aroma. 24EBU

Cask @ 2nd Saltburn Beer Festival. A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of hop bitters, fruits like citrus. The taste has citrus in it, fruity, with some hop bitters in the back. The aftertaste has some sweet notes and stays bitter for a while.

Cask (GBBF2011, Wed)
Simple malty aroma, clearly barly dominated. Sweetish palate, but watery, and a touch minerally. A classic golden ale only in the way that makes people criticise golden ales for being booooring.

Wonderfully clear, light foamy head. Plenty of citrus notes and slips down very easily.

On cask at Great British Beer Festival, day 3 on 6 August 2009. Golden colour. Not a huge amount of the nose but, on the palate, it’s a pleasant, quite zesty golden ale. Light mouthfeel. Plenty of lemony citrus. Very quaffable. Not particularly assertive but, alongside a plethora of unremarkable golden ales this did present a bit more zip and zing that the norm.

Crisp and clear amber with a thin, light, white head. Plain straw and barnyard nose. Not much to it then a long caramel finish. Pretty darned lame bar that finish.
