2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 bobinlondon (1179) - Harrow, - AUG 12, 2011
Hand pulled cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW) Watford. Amber/ brown with a healthy off white head. Mild malty aroma and the flavour could be describeded this way too. But it’s a rather buttery maltiness with virtually no hops to balance. After a promissing start this was no more interesting than a keg bitter of the 1970’s. Utterly dull.

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Murky amber with a dense cream head; sweet grainy aroma; smooth with a grainy texture and a little sour fruit; the finish is thin and watery with perhaps a touch of toffee. Really poor.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Gethinbeer (1565) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2011
Amber colour with a thin white head. Earthy malt aroma. Thin texture, the beer might be off. Vinegar after taste.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2011
Live at The Felix, Nuneaton. Coppery, almost ruby with a fine cream collar. Some chestnut with cheese and slight dung in the aroma- not great. Better once you taste it; strawberry powdered with coffee, walnut, plenty more dung-accented yeastiness. Flattening condition, almost pleasant dry roasted and puffed rice afters. Weird like a bottle-conditioned beer gone a bit wrong.

Cask conditioned handpump Far From The Madding Crowd Oxford. A copper coloured beer with no head. Quite shocking. Bits of fruit. Heavy grass notes. Dirty water and toilet cleaner. Very wrong.
