1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Fairly uninteresting ale. Nice start but the sharp sticky bitterness kills this beer. Worth giving it a try as it is a little different, but only on a paddle.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Orange gold with a subsiding white collar. Smells like catfood; both meaty and dried, with a salvaging hint (and is really is a hint) of something like coriander. 2? Better beyond; grassiness, orange and buttery hints. Faint biscuit and corn as it warms; something green and strange: cress? Difficult.
