Handpump at Jabez Clegg, Manchester. Pours a dark golden with small but lasting off-white head. Grassy, hop aroma gives way to a fruitier taste, with hints of coriander(?) and a maltier balance. Dryish palate.

Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Orange gold with a subsiding white collar. Smells like catfood; both meaty and dried, with a salvaging hint (and is really is a hint) of something like coriander. 2? Better beyond; grassiness, orange and buttery hints. Faint biscuit and corn as it warms; something green and strange: cress? Difficult.

Cask conditioned handpump King Billy Northampton. A pale gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A nice citric hoppy aroma; possibly tangerine. Hoppy and long in the mouth. Bit of lime jelly. Good drinking beer with nice flavours from nouveau hops.
