2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at Spoons, Milton Keynes. Gold with a small white head. Served so cold I could barely discern the aroma. Perhaps grainy and peachy. Tatse is a curious cheesy malt. Slight bitterness. A beer which interests the drinker without endearing itself.

Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton. A hazy gold coloured beer with a whitish head. Minimal aroma just hints of grass. Lagerish hops with hints of tropical fruit. Tastes like it’s brewed to be cold. Middle of the road but perfectly drinkable.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Clouded Gold with slight head. Straight in to a sour apple wet paper cardboard flavour, like trying to eat the paper tissue round a mouldy apple, fruity, yeasty and really quite bad. There was about 50 people around the bar with one bar girl so no chance of queuing up again.
