2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled purchased at Siciliano’s Market in Grand Rapid, MI in December, 2011 and rated on 4-05-2012. Pours a medium sized smooth off-white head that mostly diminished with spotty amounts of lacing, transparent body, fizzy carbonation, and an orange hue. The Aroma is malty, grain, suggestions of caramel and hops, and crisp. The Flavor is malty, caramel, some hops and a semi-dry short finish. The Mouthfeel is lightly tingly and this is a medium bodied Vienna beer. Overall, could qualify as a session beer, lacks character and the flavor was blase.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not as good as the premium. Very bold an bitter and smells skunky. Pours a dark yellow in color and has a tough aftertaste.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A sweeter and lighter version of the Vienna than I prefer. Lacks the malt depth that you’d expect.

A darker version of the classic Grain Belt. Same sweet hints of blueberries, but almost no finish. Had this with a Juicy Lucy ar 5-8 Club.

"The Belt" is an easy drinking, cheap alternative to all the macro choices out there. This is one for people who don’t want to be like every body else. By far, not the best beer out there, but definitely worth a try sometime.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear bottle. Pours a clear, light brownish amber with minimal white head. Aroma of corn that is really overpowered by chemicals and Windex. Flavor is mildly sweet and buttery, with chemicals, a bit unnatural. Not the worst beer I’ve had by any means, but not so good.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Sickie’s garage. Pours brown with a thin white head. Leaves little lacing in the glass. Has a slight caramel note on the nose. Has an even slighter caramel note on the tongue. Finishes clean. Not a great beer by any means but sometimes you just want something simple with your burger.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a nice golden amber, really clear with not much head or lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt, a little honey and bread. Taste is sweet, thin, with some cereal and grain. Palate is smooth, taste leaves quickly making it pretty refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
It wasn’t too dark or too light. Didn’t leave an aftertaste and gave me a good buzz. Will definitely drink again.
