2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer isn’t fancy, so if you go in comparing it to the latest triple hopped, extra malted, $20/six pack you’re going to be disappointed. This is an inexpensive lawnmowing beer that actually tastes pretty good.
Taste wise, its very light, there’s a hint of sweetness that doesn’t build to be cloying. But its not heavy and its a good summer beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
16oz can to pint glass. poured bright clear yellow with a white head with plenty of carbonation. aroma is corn and semi sweet malts light to medium body. pretty typical of an American lager. the flavor holds true to style no faults there. this is just your typical American lager with the ability to drink many of them if you so choose overall its decent holds to style and that’s all.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Camping in Minnesota, so I thought I would try this and drink local. 12 pack of 16 oz cans. I figured it would be a traditional American lager and I am correct. However, I would have to say that this "Friendly Beer" is pretty good for the style. Glad I picked this up and will enjoy it around the camp fire.

Pissy yellow, weak head. Just a sweet corn tasting beer, easy to drink in excess.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear, yellow-gold with a thick and frothy white head.
Aroma is slightly fruity...barley malt....
Taste is creamy, barley malt....I’m struck by the taste and aroma, which reminds me of strawberries and cream......
Really a standout....different....but extremely tasty....an absolute pleasure.

Can. Milky barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body. A great pale lager.

Pale lager minus hops & heavy on corn. Slight bitterness in the finish. Liked it more when I was younger.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can @ Lyndale Tap House. Gold pour with a prominent white head. Strongly sweet nose. Heavy notes of artificial apple and white bread. Sugar and honey. Very sweet flavor. Drinks a bit bigger than its modest ABV. A flabby, sugary mess that unfortunately lacks the drinkability of the best in this style. Disappointing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grain Belt Premium Beer has a very thick, frothy, spongy, white head (somewhat like whipped cream, at the crown), a mostly clear, straw appearance, but with noticeably more white sediment chunks than what one will see with macro-lagers. Lacing is pretty heavy. Aroma is of surprisingly strong northwest hops, and the flavor is of white bread, white bread crust, mainline hop bitterness, and a touch of sweetness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Grain Belt Premium Beer finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT
