Brown, cloudy, murky English bitter, nicely malted, slightly dry on tongue and with strong hops on the finish. However, the hops don’t overpower it or stay on the tongue. A really nicely balanced robust bitter.

Cask - The Plough, Norwich. Poured a copper/amber with a fine but lasting white to off-white head. Caramel malt sweetness on the nose, nice and light fruity hops coming through. Flavour-wise, again a good sweetness delivered from the malt, some woodiness and almond in the aftertaste, preceded by a slightly drying, mild bitter hop tone. Soft palate texture, low carbonation, light to medium body.
