EdKing (1907) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Brown, cloudy, murky English bitter, nicely malted, slightly dry on tongue and with strong hops on the finish. However, the hops donít overpower it or stay on the tongue. A really nicely balanced robust bitter. Re-rate - nice balance of slightly chocolatey toasty malt and caramel. Not much hopping, but when itís fresh itís decent.

sm89walt (1766) - Northern Beaches, Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 22, 2010
Cask - The Plough, Norwich. Poured a copper/amber with a fine but lasting white to off-white head. Caramel malt sweetness on the nose, nice and light fruity hops coming through. Flavour-wise, again a good sweetness delivered from the malt, some woodiness and almond in the aftertaste, preceded by a slightly drying, mild bitter hop tone. Soft palate texture, low carbonation, light to medium body.
