Based on the Belgian witbier style, this cloudy wheat beer has flavours of bubblegum, orange and coriander, and pours with a gorgeous frothy white head.

Hazy golden, typical English small white head. Tastes of citrus, koriander and wheat. Proper wheat beer, some of the best British attempts at wheat beer I’ve had so far, but still plainly British ale (which in itself is not a bad thing)

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a cloudy yellow, with a dense white head. Aroma of apples, banana and cloves. Wheat flavours, with some sweet mango and dry straw. Finish was slightly spicy, with some grassy hop and yeast esters.

Cask at GBBF. Vibrant pale golden yellow colour, big foamy white head. Aroma is wheaty and herbal. Body is medium, low carbonation, smooth. Taste is breathy orange, lemon, herbal. Crazy drinkable. Listed on ratebeer as a wit, though I had it down as a saison. Either way, this was a nice surprise.

Cask at The Nags Head in Reading. Hazy golden yellow beer. Great light take on wheat beer. The missus loved this one. Bit thin but only 4 per cent.

A good combination of wheat & Belgium yeast marrying into a slightly sweet fresh tasting beer. Not a lot of depth but a good session beer. Rated by BrewTom

GBBF Day 4. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. A little wheaty floralness. Bubblegum streaked mellow citrus. Light dry finish. Not bad, vaguely Hoegaarden like.

Bottle at the ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Fergus! Pours clear, yellow-gold with a light, white foam head. Orange citrus nose. Light sweet flavor, some hay, more citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately dry finish, more orange, light straw, some doughy pale malts. Tasty. Decent witbier from the Brits!

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Fergus, 30/12/12. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that soon clears. Nose is pale malt, light sugar, spice, lemon. Taste comprises wheat, lemon, clove, spice, slightly tarte. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a sweet dry finish. Decnet enough drop.
