COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Big thanks to luttonm for bringing this one back from France. Pours a bright, transparent orange. Fairly weak aroma, and the flavor comes through as, yeasty, with gentle hops - much like a good saison. Nice and pungent / potent, though - I liked this one quite a bit.

Big swing-top found at a corner market in Perpignan France and brought back to Seattle. Deep golden, yeasty pour with light foamy head. Rich alcohol nose and robust wheaty yeast. Strong Biere .. sugar, caramel. Weight is nice on top of standard french yeast-bread flavors. Carbonation is fine, alc adds thickness. Creamy undercut by alc and sharp herbiness. Qite nice, great surprise.

Bottle 750ml.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple, mazipan mase, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20091113]
