33cl bottle. Orangée, col blanc cassé. Arôme de la carotte est minime, le tout conserve un côté mielleux avec en retrait un profile houblonné et citron. Un malt léger est perçu. La carotte quant à elle rajoute une touche végétale. En bouche, bière est plus légère que attendue, carbonation est basse avec un profile malt cara, carotte et houblonnée plus en retrait que de premier abord dans l’arôme. Je pensais que cette bière serait un peu couverte par la carotte, et ce ne fut pas le cas. Le tout reste une bière belge de facture normale dans le style bière blonde, qui est sauvé par et ajout de carotte. Au fini, je note aussi une présence feuilletée allant sur le thé vert suivit par une touche de houblon et zeste de citron..

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Murky gold appearance. Peppery aroma. Sweetish with some fruity notes on the palate. Carrots seem a rather odd ingredient but I can’t say I noticed any particular influence on the flavour. Passable but a bit bland.

Bottle at Chriso pre-GBBF tasting 09. Gold, thin white head. Some spice and meat on aroma. Oddish pale beer. Bit sour but decent character.

Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Spicy and herbal aroma with yeasty notes. Dry and herbal flavour

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, perfume notes, light to moderate yeasty, soap, ginger. Flavor is moderate ginger sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a light peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090429]

Bottle at the legend of chriso’s pre GBBF09 tasting. Alround rating: Wet dog, lemon, light wheat malt. Very yeasty and poor.

Bottled. Orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is some fruits, yeast and sweetness. Flavour is sweet fruits, some herbal and also quite bittery and mild alcohol. Not very pleasant.

Clear gold coloured beer with small white head and few carbonation. A spicy, marzipan aroma. Full palate. Finish is herby. A flat finish though a good one.
