3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great dark amber colour, with fast dissappearing head. Extremely sweet but with a slight tint of burnt barley. Extremely easy to drink and pleasant. A nice surprise for Christmas.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber brown with a beige/brown head. Sourish malty aroma with notes of yeast and remote notes of gooseberries. Flavour is sweetish and fruity with notes of alcohol and apple – the latter especially in the finish. Faint metallic notes as well. An okay beer, but a bit boring. 19-01-06.

(on 75cl. corked bottle)A nice surprice, within the sea of belgian x-mas ales, with big alcohol and malts, to see this BdG.Has a very nice sent of warm malts and nougat and a colorfull deep, nutbrown tone. A round, twinkling mouthfull, with burnt figs andsome caramel; no spices. And no hopping; a really drinkable brew.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours with an okay colour and a just-average head. Smells of fruity malts, slight alcohol hint. Taste is a mix of malts, grassiness, syrup. Okay lacing on the glass, but this is nothing special.

The most beautiful clear amber-red color with ever! lasting head! A bit too carbonated and too sweet but x-mas beer and a great one.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sickly sweet aroma. Pours reddish brown with quickly disappearing head. Flavour of sirup, raisin, marzipan - incredibly sweet but watery at the same time. Below average.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty reddish amber colour, head not too impressive. Dryish yeasty aroma. Flavour is medium sweet with hints of fruits (apples). Lightly bitter finish. Not at all bad but pretty uninspiring.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Orange brownish. Foamy, quickly disapparing. Low carbonation, gives a flat impression. Flavor of sweet orange peel and alcohol. Not christmassy at all. Couldn’t finish it.
