3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Light hazy golden, small white head. Aroma is apple, hops and some malt. Lovely fresh flavour from the hops and citrus - the sharpness is tempered by the biscuity grain. Light to medium with a soft feel.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured very lively with a billowing white head. Aromas of apple and yeast quite a refreshing taste and light palate, making it a good drink for such a sunny evening as tonight. Does suffer a bit from that UK BCA trait of being almost too yeasty, but a well made beer otherwise

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From 2007 (BA): My second beer from this fairly new craft brewery, this 500ml brown bottle was best before March 2008, it was opened and drank in December 2007.
Posh art work on the front label, basic information on the rear label.
This is a bottle conditioned Pale Ale and I allowed the sediment to leave the bottle and enter my pint sleeve glass. I poured the beer aggressively to produce a head, sadly no head appeared. However on a more possitive note, the floating lumps of yeast settled to the bottom of my glass quickly.
The aroma was very sweet, a toffee apple smell.
Difficult to pin down the flavours, the beer seemed to go flat very swiftly and its condition appeared to be poor. Mixed fruits (apples and pears) and a good tangy bitterness. My score of 3.5 is maybe higher than it should be, but I enjoyed the taste even though the appearance began to waiver.
The mouthfeel and drinkability were both OK . I will have to try another because I am sure this beer was not at its best on this occassion.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy coloured full bodied hoppy English beer with lovely lemony flavours and a nice balance of malt and bitterness on the finish. Something about this is similar to the American pale ales - I think itís the bite of the hops and the citrous flavours but as far as i know itís English hops, which is weird. Really like this one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask - The Brewery Tap/The Shed, Wroxham. Poured, from gravity, a golden orange colour with a medium sized bubbly off-white, short-lasting head. Grassy fresh hops, a bit of sulphur on the nose. Good lingering grassy bitterness, some earthy hoppiness and a light sweet malt tone. Light in terms of body with medium carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock, London 13/10/09. Deep gold with no head. Sweet malt and citrus hop aroma. Flavour came across as a good attempt at creating the Blue Anchor house style in Norfolk - plenty of butterscotch, red fruit, wood and grubby lichen. Poor.
