Dull mid-orange. Some cleanser aroma perhaps. Tastes a little watery but has a good dry woody hop finish. A bit of toffee. Quite full for its strength. Sweet. Fairly flat.

500ml bottle. Orange straw in colour with a frothy persistent head. Light floral earthy aroma. Crisp clean flavour. A very well made beer. Nutty and malty.

Bottle in Kings Head. Colour is light copper, thin white head. Nose is grainy, lightly sour yeast, light caramel. Taste is a bit sour sharp, grain husky, light caramel, dry old wood.

Cask conditioned at The Village Inn, West Runton, Norfolk. Amber with white head. Crisp, fresh, hoppy session type beer, nicely set up and refreshing. Good leafy, slightly flowery flavour, drying and lasting on the palate pretty decent.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, caramel and some mild wooden notes. Flavour is fruits, freshly cut wood, mild resiny notes as well as some herbs and nuts.

Cask gravity at Colchester BF 2011. Mid gold with thin white head. Butter and caramel on aroma. I was fearing diacetyl and although there is some butter it works ok. In fact its a decent session bitter. Some soft bitterness on the finish. Fine. Some decent caramel flavours.

Cask - Kings Head, Norwich. Poured with a lasting, medium sized off-white head atop a clear, dark yellow body. Some lacework to boot. Marmalade aromas, slightly floral. Caramel, yeast, some earth with an orange sweetness coming through on the tongue. Finishes grassy with a fair length to it. A light body & soft palate texture makes this a decent session offering.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 14th October 2010. Amber with a whitish head of foam. Light hop aroma and grassy hop-bitterness in-mouth. Lingering moderate whole-mouth bitterness in finish, and a light textured mouthfeel.
