3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask pint in the sun trap that is the front patio of The Barking Smack on Great Yarmouth seafront: 8th June 2014. Nice easy drinking session ale, amber with a white lasting head. Slightly more malty than hoppy but the blend is well balanced with only the finish being hoppy and drying. I like Grain breweries beers in general and this follows that pattern.

Cask at Draft House. Red / orange, pretty clear, still, very little head. Aroma - toffee, malty. Body is medium to light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste - toffee, good level of sweetness, soft bitterness. Very drinkable. These guys know how to balance out a traditional bitter.

Dull mid-orange. Some cleanser aroma perhaps. Tastes a little watery but has a good dry woody hop finish. A bit of toffee. Quite full for its strength. Sweet. Fairly flat.

Market Porter, Borough 4 Nov 12. Lys gyldenbrun. Lavt skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Svak fruktaroma. Smaken er druer og litt syrlig frukt etter hvert.
