Cask at the Bankers Draft, Bedford. A nice-looking beer: clear pale yellow with a head that is neither too tight nor too foamy. Tropical/lemon aroma with a hint of soap. Taste is better, bittersweet and slightly astringent with a dry almost woody finish. Light mouthfeel. Better than I expected.

Light bronze. Mainly caramelly in the nose. Slightly fruity but keeping with the caramelly theme. Off-dry finish.

1/2 at the Tilley Stone Gateshead.Golden largery colour with a thin silky white head Honey and cereal aroma, like a tasty flapjack or breakfast bar. Same sort of flavour with sauvignon wine and blueberries, and Iím a sucker for sauvignon and blueberries in a blond ale. Nice and summery.

Pours a clear yellow. Fruity malty aroma, sweetness prominent in this. Good taste, aside from that ok.

Leighton (13821) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Cask at the Crosse Keys, London. Pours clear yellow with a bubby, white head. Wet hay and biscuity malts on the nose. Sweet flavor, more wet hay, a bit of corn, straw, light doughy biscuit, just the faintest hints of citrus tang. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, bit more mild lemon citrus, hay and dough. Not bad, easy drinking beer.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Grainy light beer on the tartish, sour side, a hint of vinegar twang with not enough flavour to combat it. More down to the cellarmanship than the beer possibly.
