Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, - SEP 2, 2006
Cask at the Dick Whittington Pub, Gloucester, 02-09-06. A beer that was really quite scrumptious until I tried Loz’s Bridge of Allan Raspberry Wheat beer and then decided I must have one of them. Back to the Grainstore, it poured a clear golden colour and was very sweet with a hop presence on the nose, which like some of the sweetness carried through into the taste, but also an underlying grapefruit flavour kept coming through. As mentioned this was very good but not as good as Loz’s Red Mist which was next up for me.

Pours a clear yellow. Fruity malty aroma, sweetness prominent in this. Good taste, aside from that ok.

Leighton (4100) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Cask at the Crosse Keys, London. Pours clear yellow with a bubby, white head. Wet hay and biscuity malts on the nose. Sweet flavor, more wet hay, a bit of corn, straw, light doughy biscuit, just the faintest hints of citrus tang. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, bit more mild lemon citrus, hay and dough. Not bad, easy drinking beer.

imdownthepub (7491) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Grainy light beer on the tartish, sour side, a hint of vinegar twang with not enough flavour to combat it. More down to the cellarmanship than the beer possibly.

DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2008 1)The Grainstore, Oakham. Orange gold with silky white suds and lagery clarity. Zesty grapefruit aroma. Citrussy and oaty with a gnaw of cardboard. Soapy lemon and homebrew earthiness. A bit wishy-washy. Doesn’t quite deliver the hop punch it promises. 2) Leicester ’Spoons. Silky froth on lagery gold. Stroke of Alsatian/ grainy lemony hop aroma. Milky and gently citrussy. Nibble of almond. Ok.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Swan & Rushes - Leicester. An orange coloured beer. The aroma is hoppy with orange fruits. The taste is also hoppy with more orange fruits. Decent malts to give a good body. Nice.

duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2006
Cask@The Market Porter, Borough, London. Sweetish and malty golden ale. Some light diacetyl and a light buttery note. Not much ion the way of hops in the finish, this was bit dull.
