Cask handpull at the Grainstore tap, Oakham, 26/06/14. Narrow haloed gold. Aniseed, cedar and chlorine aroma. Paper aniseed flavour stale with plastic and cardboard. Some redeeming almond and cherry blossom. Unlikeable.

Cask, Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Brewed in "celebration" of Wayne Rooney’s injury. A bright amber beer with a small head. Aromas are fruity with fresh hops. Some light caramel and toffee malts. Flavours are caramel and toffee malts with pear and apricot fruitiness. Lightly hoppy. A bit thin, but decent.
