Cask, Occasional;
A refreshing light golden brew, whose flavour is complex and mellow with a finely balanced floral aroma and smooth bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2010 Cask at Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. At Wetherspoons Real Ale Festival, though not on the official lists. Gold with a small white head. Slight citric hop aroma. Pleasant, unassuming citrus taste. Some bitterness. Decent but rather standard golden. Pumpclip suggests there’s some tie-in with Anglian Water. 22.9.10 Cask, gravity, at Pig ’n’ Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Drinkable, but short of distinctiveness. Rating:4,3,5,3,11:2.6

Cask conditioned Handpump Rushden Historical Transport Society.A golden beer with an off-white puddle for a head. An ordinary nothingness type of English golden ale really with no off flavours but nothing to make it stand out. Clean tasting and very safe. A non event even if there’s nothing to hate.

Cask, Loughborough Fest 08. Golden with a small head. Aromas are soft biscuit malts with citrus and sulphur. Flavours are hoppy and dry with citrus notes. Simple.
