Simple malty bitter aroma. Some grains. Malty body, hops low. A little dull, but very well crafted "boring english bitter". A touch watery. But it looked great in the glass with is tight persistent head.

Cask at the Crosse Key, JDW. Clear gold pour with an oily cream head. Musty malts and faint, earthy hops. Rather messy flavor but not bad. Has some nice, doughy bread, citrus, and earthy, leafy hops. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes bready with herbal hops in the throat. Alright.
