This beer is based on the ’Golding Hop’. It is lighter than other Grainstore beers, possessing a pronounced floral flavour and aroma. A well-rounded beer with a satisfying, lingering aftertaste.

Cask - The Bell Hotel (JDW), Norwich. Thick & creamy lasting off-white head; slightly hazy light amber body. Toasty, nutty malt aroma with some creamy sweetness going on. Some caramel on the tongue and mid fruits. An OK grassy Goldings bitterness. Soft mouthfeel, light to medium body.

Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, ripped fruit, citrus notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is zily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110804]

Cask at the Crosse Key, JDW. Clear gold pour with an oily cream head. Musty malts and faint, earthy hops. Rather messy flavor but not bad. Has some nice, doughy bread, citrus, and earthy, leafy hops. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes bready with herbal hops in the throat. Alright.
