Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Golden coloured, with no head to speak of. OK, nice flavoured mix of sweet and ry. A little like a Perry or summat. Refreshing but not full flavoured.

Half, cask hand pulled at Wetherspoons in Milton Keynes. Golden body, no head. Sweaty hops to the nose. Grass-fruity taste. Dry bitter end. Average (warm-up to the match MK Dons vs Peterborough, 21.03.2011).

Cask, gravity at The Pig’n’Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Copper gold with a small white head. Faint aroma, possibly hoppy. Metallic, rather watery taste with a little bitterness. Something of a non-event really.

Cask conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a loose off-white head. A grassy and bitter beer with a touch of orange in the aroma and pretty decent hopping in the mouth. Hoppier than usual from Grainstore and tastier than expected.

HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2009
Cask. At The Wenlock Arms. Light amber-gold pour with an average white head. Mild fruity aroma, nicely balanced by light grassy bitterness, somewhat woody. The taste is simple, initially slightly fruity, then grassy-bitter. Average body, fairly crisp for cask, takes quite a while to finish - bitter, but not aggressively so. Quite a decent pint.

Handpulled at the Babington (JDW) Derby. Well balanced bitter, clean gold, no great shakes but still solid stuff.

Standard bitter appearance with an airy aroma and dry bitter flavour. Overall a plain bitter.

Light gold with a loose bubbly head. Aromas are light, bitter sulpur. Flavours are mellow and buttery, some fruit and sulphur. Smooth and washes over the tongue nicely - a bit dull, though.
