Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A full strength mahogany coloured beer, which has a moreishness typical of a beer possessing the fine balance of pronounced hop bitterness & aroma against a natural malty sweetness, creating a deceivingly drinkable beer.

Toffee malts in the aroma. Mahogany body thin top. A nice full taste of hop fruit and caramel malt. Sweet to taste and with a good balance. A good accompaniment to watching Man City stick 4 past a Newcastle side that looked as weak at the back as ever.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear amber colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of toffee, some marzipan, berries, some fruit cake and spicy plum. Taste is fruity of toffee apple, pear, berries, raisin, subtle fruit cake and spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A spicy fruit finish. A decent malty bitter with nice spicy fruit flavours and a good body. Ok.

Pours a clear mid brown with an off white head. Smells of the bakery and then toffee. Lovely rounded bitter taste.

Slightly hazy amber pint with a thick foamy head. Light malty smell. Flavour is a fairly standard bitter. Earthy malt, a bit of light fruit. There’s a citric bitter touch to it as well which livens it up a bit, especially the aftertaste.

(Grainstore Ten Fifty) Bottle 500ml from vipinvelp, many thanks Werner! Served into an english pint glass, ABV 5% Amber coloured beer, clear body, small off-white head with good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, toffee, english hops, biscuit. Classic. Taste also of toffee, also red fruits in there, some biscuit and cookie dough, light marmalade, then a nice bitterness, long lasting and being present on the aftertaste too. Medium body with good carbonation. Nice.
