3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Spoons, Market Harborough. Somehow hallucinated this was called íThe Fourth Kingí but I canít find any evidence of that beerís existence, so Iím assuming it was this. Bright amber with a thinning white lid. Hay, almond and faint apple aroma. Good biscuity malts, GK-type softness, almond/cherrystone, dribble of apple-hinting fruit. Vanilla and bready afters. Pleasant malt-driven refeshment, but no more.

Cask conditioned Handpump Cordwainer Northampton. A copper coloured beer with a losse white bubbly head. Hints of sweetness amongst a sweet background. Aroma is very thin. The lemony flavours in the mouth are ok. Pretty safe and in no way Christmassy.
