This is our tribute to the black iron that paved the way to get to the Grand Canyon. Black Iron is a high hopped, fragrant ale that is as deep and as wide as the Grand Canyon itself!

Can (courtesy of Ibrew2or3 - thanks). Orange malt and light grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and lightly bitter orange peel flavor. Nice body. Good but hops lovers won’t be too pleased with this.

12oz can thanks to Ibrew2or3. Pours orange with a large off-white head. Aroma citrus and tropical fruits with a slight hops spice. Taste is a sweet maltiness, caramel, and sweet fruits. Sweet and easy to drink but not a lot going on here.

I have never had an IPA I didn’t like.....until now. This is very bland. Very low IBU, low alochol, low body. Its like a light IPA, which would be fine, if they told me it was a light IPA.

(12oz can thanks to Cavie) clear medium yellow with sparse bubbles and some decent lacing. Nose is dank, grapefruit, orange and creamsickle. Taste of sugar, tastes like a beer that hasn’t completely fermented, orange pulp and creamy.

Thanks to the kind soul that opened this at the recent Tampa tasting (Charlie, I think?). Pours clear gold with a slight white head. Nose is malt, lemon, citrus, and some caramel. Flavor is similar with syrupy malt and a fair amount of thick, sweet citrus. Medium in body and a lingering citrus burst in the finish.

Can. Decent citrus and floral notes on the nose. Copper body with small head. Decent citrus and some dry bittering. Cool and crisp on the palate decent brew
