This is our tribute to the black iron that paved the way to get to the Grand Canyon. Black Iron is a high hopped, fragrant ale that is as deep and as wide as the Grand Canyon itself!

I have never had an IPA I didnít like.....until now. This is very bland. Very low IBU, low alochol, low body. Its like a light IPA, which would be fine, if they told me it was a light IPA.

Weak aroma. Malt, caramel, hops, bitters with some sweetness flavors. Dark golden color with a lite head. OK beer.

25oz on tap (yeah!). Pretty decent IPA, apricot notes, slightly grassy, nothing to set it apart from the pack unfortunately. Not a bad beer, though, and completely drinkable. I canít fault them much for having a very basic, IPA.

pours golden with a thin, white head and no lacing. Taste is surprisingly malty to start followed by some bitter, hoppiness at the end with a touch of citrus that lingers on the palate.

Can from BevMo, Phoenix. Strong hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. Pours golden with a thin, white head and no lacing. Taste is surprisingly malty to start followed by some bitter, hoppiness at the end with a touch of citrus that lingers on the palate. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can shared by beerboxer. Pours clear amber with a thin beige head and a citrus and toffee aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a moderately bitter finish.

Had at Flannys annv party. Based on the name I was expecting a black IPA but it is just your traditional American golden IPA. Decent level of hop bitterness. Some garlic notes. Was a good beer but not a great beer.

Can from Sun Devil Liquors. Pours Orange with a thin white head that has really good retention. a really slight citrus hop on the note. As others have mentioned itís really biscutiy on the tongue. if you really focus you can get a citrus bit. Itís hard to talk about the finish when the beer never ever starts.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Smooth, light orange and fizzy with a decent off white head on top. Hoppy but not too bitter, but all together, forgettable. Could be smoother, but a beer is a beer my friend.
