Our Coffee Bean Stout is a full bodied ale with Pale, Munich, Caramel, and Chocolate malts that lend sweet coffee/toffee flavors. Adding 100 lbs. of oatmeal per batch smoothing out the middle. The roasted barley gives our coffee bean stout a dry finish and a flavor your sure to love.

Pours dark brown. Aromas and taste dominated by coffee, which is nicely integrated though. Very nice beer, easy drinking. Could do with some more ABV to give a bit more body.

Bottle to pint glass Coffee, bittersweet chocolate, nutmeg and molasses. Dark brown/black with a thin creamy light tan head. Taste is chocolate, coffee, molasses, with some acidic berry flavour (perhaps blackberry). This is okay; drinkable, but not fantastic.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, dark reddish brown pour with slightly tan head, aroma brought notes of coffee, vanilla, slight roast, hints of grain into a bit of sweet bread, touch of grain. Taste was a mix of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, nice coffee notes into a bit of roast, slight thin notes, finishing a bit flat. Ok.

Bottle. Pours a near black color with a small off white head on it. Nose is heavily coffee laden with just a hint of some pepper in there. Taste is a little sweet with a lot of coffee and just a hint of spicy pepper in there. Decent.

Bomber bottle. Aroma is coffee and toffee. Appearance is a dark brown with some tan head. Taste is coffee and dark malt. Palate is dry and dark. Overall, a decent coffee stout. Would like to try bourbon barreled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Random Tempe Safeway bottle discovered while doing laundry (long story). For crying out loud, stop putting wax on capped bottles. Nice dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head and nice lacing. Big aroma of coffee and dark malt with a hint of oatmeal. The flavor is surprisingly thin; mostly watery coffee with a little bitterness. A bit of a let down after the aroma. Meh.

A vigorous pour into my teku glass produces a three-finger thick, pale brown tinged, full tan colored head. The beer is a chocolate brown color. The nose has an immense coffee note to it that pretty much drowns out all other aromas, but it does have a toasted / roasted grain husk character in the finish. Slightly musty, and a bit like metallic cold black coffee.

Light bodied up front, but picks up a touch of richness as it rolls across the tongue. Coffee flavors also dominate the flavor with a bitter roasted coffee finish, softly rounded roasted coffee notes, a touch of coffee like smokiness, some dark cocoa notes, and a definite coffee derived nutty note. Perhaps a touch of noticeable malt character accentuates the nutty notes, the cocoa character and provides a bit of burnt grain husk character.

A beer for coffee addicts for sure, this is quite coffee dominated, and really not bad, but it is a bit simplistic in the end.
