Tasted on 5/8/13 from a wax dipped and capped 650mL bomber bottle purchased at Sun Devil. Pours clear golden with an average white head that leaves average lace. The nose is more caramel malt than anything with some resin hops underlying. The flavor is the same, with the malts really dominating and some decent hops bitterness on the back of the palate. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long malty and bitter hops finish.

From bomber. Clear orange pour with small white head and lacing. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Taste is caramel, citrus, more bitter than sweet. Bitter finish.

Thanks to Joe for the Brew. Hazy light amber pour. Resiny hop aroma. Smooth malt with a resiny hop bitterness. Tasty.

Bomber. Thanks Dustin. Bottle says not your run of the mill IPA. Well I’ll disagree. It is pretty mediocre. Not that it’s a bad thing. Hoppy, bitter. Nothing really stands out, but still enjoyable.

Bottle in trade from ibrew2or3. This had been hanging out in my fridge for a criminally long amount of time. Bomber dated July 2013, poured Januaray 2014. Pours a beautifully clear golden orange with a one finger fluffy white head. Aroma is grapefruit and heavy caramel and bready malts (as expected given the age). This seems like it would have been really nice fresh so bonus points for still smelling rather appetizing. Flavor is a combination of stale hops and surprisingly light malt backbone given the aroma. Sweet bready malts dominate this with just a hint of grapefruit on the tongue. Resinous and medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad, should have had it fresh and will have to try again.

Bottle picked up in Phoenix. Again, knock it off with the wax on capped bottles. Aroma is a mashup of scents: lager yeast, skunky hops, sweet malt, caramel and some citrus pith; not a typical IPA nose. Flavor actually keeps the sweet malt up front with a strong bitterness backbone that lingers for a bit. Nice.

Bomber from Mom purchased at the brewery. Pours hazy copper with a thin white head and some lacing. Tastes creamy, hoppy, nutty, like pine, musk, and some sweetness. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells nutty, musky, and hoppy.

sonnycheeba (3559) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle shared by snoworsummer. Pours mostly clear amber with frothy white head. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, biscuit and cereal malts, light toast, orange peel, and faint toffee. Flavor is dry malt base with fresh hop bitterness, grapefruit esters, and faint caramel sweetness; dry finish with a touch of bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

Poured from a 750 millimeter bottle into a double wall glass. How do you get the hop thingy out of the bottle? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
