3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle from a trade with BOLTZ7555. Dark brown nearly black in color with small white head that vanished quickly. Not much retention. Nose has lots of cinnamon and nutmeg, light roasted malt. Taste is mostly spice with pumpkin being rather subdued. Malt has good sweetness. Body is medium with carbonation giving the brew a touch of a creamy texture. Lingering spice and sweet malt aftertaste. Overall pretty nice.

Bottle from AZ Wine. Pours mahogany with a trim beige head. Smells of pie spice and pumpkin. Tastes of each with added notes of sweet malt, licorice, cream. Pumpkin without being overly sweet. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hands down one of the best Pumpkin beers Iíve ever tasted. Never had pumpkin in a porter before, and itís a great match. Pours dark, and smells of something like spice bread. The taste is a rich pumpkin flavor with a very well-balanced hop kick. All with a nice dense mouthfeel and full malt backbone of caramel and maybe some light coffee notes. Good job!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Definitely one of the more interesting pumpkin beers Iíve had. Pours a deep brown. Aroma and flavor match: sweet malts, caramel, roasted, pumpkin (of course), other spices. Itís smooth with light carbonation and a long finish. (9/20/12 Total Wine fall beer tasting.)

Another tasty entry in the pumpkin beer category. Pours very dark brown. Slight head, virtually no lacing. Good pumpkin and spice flavor. Recommended.
