Looks and smells good. But the flavor is nothing but malty soapiness. Really not tasty. Ick.

12oz can pours reddish amber with a bit of haze and initial tall tan head. The aroma has some dusty astringent like maltiness followed by an acidic tartness and then sort of roasty biscuity malts. The taste is similar with a mix of biscuit, nuttiness and earthy malts as well as some roasted malts and then a modest level of sweet cherry like fruity esters. Taste a bit odd and disjointed.

Can from a generous trader. Pours dark amber brown with tan head. Nose of apple juice, caramel and toffee malts. Taste is same. Lots of apple and caramel. A bit dry and powdery in finish. Medium body.

12 Fl Oz bottle poured into a plastic cup, it is 10.30 on Sunday Morning (USA Mothers Day 2010) on the Grand Canyon Railway (Williams to the South Rim). The beer was a deep dark amber, clear and clean looking. The head was a light tan colour, deep and steady throughout the tasting. The smell and taste were very simular, malty, sweet and with hints of caramel. The beer wasn’t over sweet, but it wasn’t a hop heavy beer in any form. I thought it a bit thin, but more than drinkable.

12oz bottle thanks to IBrew2or3. Cheers, Dave! Pours an opaque amber with an off-white head. Nose is lots of malty caramel with some light fruit and citrus. Flavor is similar to the nose. This one wears its heart on its sleeve- malt up front, malt in the mid along with some light fruit and hops, and some yeast and fruit in the finish. Light to medium in body and a malty amber.

Can (courtesy of Ibrew2or3). Caramel malt and spicy hops aroma. Amber color with large tan head. Slightly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Nice for an amber ale.

12oz can courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours amber with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel malts, pear, and citrus. Taste similar to aroma with some nuttiness, glue, paper, and a dirty bitter earthiness that is a bit off putting.

amber, caramel. Pretty average Amber Ale. When I think amber ale I think fat tire, for better or worse. This is like a rather light Fat Tire.
