Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is complex, with a nice blend of brown sugar, malt, and wood. Very nice Scottish ale, along the lines of Old Chub. Thanks to Caddylac for this bottle. Aroma of dark fruits, earthy, vanilla, light alcohol and earthy. Poured a dark mahogany color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of toffee, peat, smoke, dark fruits and on the earthy side. Softer tastes of caramel, dark fruits, wood and peat. A deep dark beer with a minimal head. Loved the flavor of this beer . Has tons of different flavors from toffee, Carmel and smoke flavors. This was a great Scottish ale and I loves this type of beer. Pour me more please.
