12 oz bottle pours a dark, brownish-red with no real head to speak of. Biscuit, toasted malt, a hint of light fruits on the nose. Flavor is more sweet and fruity, with a malt presence balancing it out. Smooth but unremarkable.

arminjewell (5716) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Pours reddish with white head, aroma has notes of slight pine, caramel, some earth and spice notes as well. Pretty simple but clean tastes, notes of bitter pine and grass, some biscuit, toast, slight bit of caramel, finishing slightly bitter, dry. Easy drinking.

Rustic copperish hue, with a small white head. Aroma of big toffee and a certain creaminess. Taste was actually pretty wheaty, with sweet caramel and amber malt tones. Nothing much on hop flavor, just enough bitterness to get by. A big meh.
