omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 17, 2008 Bottled, thanks Crosling! Clear dark ruby, minimal head. Aroma of swetay grapefruit and estery pineapple. Sweet and full bodied. Fruity and thick, very malty with some apricot and evident peppery alcohol. A well crafted barleywine that lacks some personality. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 13, 2008 Date: 06/20/2008

argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA May 22, 2008 (12oz bottle, thanks ryan) Minimal beige head atop clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, some toffee, some raisin/cherry, light cantaloupe. Taste is raisin, grapefruit, alcohol. Medium-full body. CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 14, 2005 Pours a dark copper brown with swirls of light tan head and thin lacing. Deep caramel malty aroma has a nice hoppy balance and some warming alcohol notes. Starts with a good sweet caramel and toffee maltiness with lots of piney hop balance and a warming finish. This could definitely hide its alcohol better, but that may come with some more age. This already has some nice complexities. hopdog (4568), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2006 22oz bottle acquired in a trade. Poured a deep reddish-brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of cardboard with some caramel and somewhat eathry. Tastes of pretty much the same. Shame that this one was past its prime as the bottle was cool (Super Chicken - can’t get any better than that name). Thin body.
