RSRIZZO (1027), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2007 Had this beer on 6/22/2006. Aroma is rich with a sweet roasted malt scent and fresh hops. Color is a light brown with light carbonation and thin tight head. Taste is full of flavor from malty richness to a fresh happiness. Starting with medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish burst out at you with a roasted malt flavor followed by fresh hops and a nice bitterness. It seems a bit hoppy for an Amber, but I love this beer. A deep amber color with a nice head. Rich in malt I really liked the awesome flavors this beer had. The hops where subtle and the flavors and spices where great. Good Beer…
ilherps (66), USA Aug 29, 2008 The beer has a reddish amber color, tastes caramelized and slightly of hops on the finish. I smell dust on the nose. Flavors are of toffee, malts, and lots of coffee. KAggie97 (1919), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 19, 2006 Tap at brewpub. Pours a nice amber but with flat bubbles; nice head. Smells like a woodsy wort. Flavor is smoky malt. Average mouthfeel. Surprised by the smoke flavor... BEAUTIFUL Rocky Mountain National Park road for a namesake. Crosling (1660), Loveland, Colorado, USA Mar 16, 2005 Perfect bright red in color. Well balanced aroma and flavor, equally balancing malt and hops and providing flavors and aromas of caramel, mocha, toffee and resin. A pretty good"red" ale.
