Had this beer on 6/22/2006. Aroma is rich with a sweet roasted malt scent and fresh hops. Color is a light brown with light carbonation and thin tight head. Taste is full of flavor from malty richness to a fresh happiness. Starting with medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish burst out at you with a roasted malt flavor followed by fresh hops and a nice bitterness. It seems a bit hoppy for an Amber, but I love this beer.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A deep amber color with a nice head. Rich in malt I really liked the awesome flavors this beer had. The hops where subtle and the flavors and spices where great. Good Beer…

The beer has a reddish amber color, tastes caramelized and slightly of hops on the finish. I smell dust on the nose. Flavors are of toffee, malts, and lots of coffee.

Tap at brewpub. Pours a nice amber but with flat bubbles; nice head. Smells like a woodsy wort. Flavor is smoky malt. Average mouthfeel. Surprised by the smoke flavor... BEAUTIFUL Rocky Mountain National Park road for a namesake.

Perfect bright red in color. Well balanced aroma and flavor, equally balancing malt and hops and providing flavors and aromas of caramel, mocha, toffee and resin. A pretty good"red" ale.
