Our English brown ale. A mild bodied beer that is dark in color, while at the same time full of flavor. A wonderfully drinkable beer, with slight toffee, nutty and caramel flavors. Let the honey like malt flavor lure you in.

Bottle; poured a brownish color. Flavor had a decent nutty element; aroma was similar. Drinkable, but a little lacking.

I thought this was perfectly legit. It had a bright toffee and caramel flavor at the start and had a rather rich consistency (albeit within the range expected of a brown ale), reflecting its sweetness. Not long-lasting in the finish, but still fine. At Sloopy’s in Grand Lake.

Bottle. Light aroma of caramel and toffee malt as well as notes of honey and nuts. Pours medium brown with a thin tan head and no lacing. Caramel and toffee malt with sweet honey and a hint of nuttiness. Finishes smooth with the honey sweetness lingering on the palate. Pretty good brown but is a little watery at the end.

A bland and unassuming brown ale. A little too much honey for my tastes. Medium body and a watery palate.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into my Funkwerks glass. Deep, dark brown with almost no head. Aroma and flavor of toasted malts, nuts, toffee, caramel, earth and brown sugar. Mild sweetness and light bitterness. Light to medium body with a soft, thin feel.

Bottle, brought back for me by Grippitis. Thanks buddy! Deep copper amber, nutty caramel malt profile, husky aroma, but thinner on the palate than the aroma would suggest. Simple but pleasing.

Bottle; poured a dark cola brown with a khaki head. Aroma of nuts, caramel and toffee. Flavor and palate were quite thin; some sweetness, caramel, fruit and nuts. not great

Mildly nutty aroma. Nice clear dark red-brown color. Almost no head out of the bottle, but not flat. Medium bodied with some lingering roasty cereal notes.

Pours a clear copper with reasonable light-tan head. Caramel, nutty aromas but the taste is slightly less so and the palate is disappointingly thin. Clean finish.

12 ounce bottle. Pours dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, and nuts. Taste is similar with a hint of chocolate. Pretty good.
