Tasted 4/27/08. Sampler from the brewpub. Filtered with an amber hue. Spotty broken head. Bready and a touch rye in the nose. Smooth and sticky. Medium bodied and toasty. Slight finish.

Toasty aroma follows this red brew. the flavor is a malted roast and it goes down nice. Not much else to say on this one.

Reddish brown color. Very bland. My least favorite of 5 samplers ($4.95). Friendly bar.

Draft at brewpub. Poured dark clear brown color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

from the tap at the brewery. poured dark amber with a nice off white head with good lacing. aroma nicely balanced with the hops and malts, sugar.flavor, hops and malts, brown sugar. a little on the thin side but still not too bad of a beer, could have few of these might make a good session beer.
