COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A thirst quenching lager with origins from the Pilsener style. Brewed specifically for the Australian palate and the great Aussie BBQ. Crisp, refreshing and surprisingly full bodied light beer. Medal winner in 2012 at the Australian International Beer Awards.

Bottle from gift pack. Pours clear golden with faint malt aroma with a touch of honey. The honey notes translate through to the finish as well and the malt body is more substantial than many low alcohol brews. One of the best low ABV beers I’ve sampled.

bottle, thanks to my mum’s students for bringing the grand ridge gift pack around, i didn’t realise there would be one in there i hadn’t tried. anyways, simple pale golden; lightly grassy aroma; some soggy, slightly sweaty cereals; not awful for a light beer

330ml bottle(part of gift pack) into schooner glass. Caramel malt nose, golden amber beer with solid white head. Medium carbonation. Light but not watery. Tinny hops with malt background. Slight citric hint right at the end. Excellent taste for a low alcohol beer.

Bottle - malty biscuit aroma with a hint of fruit and honey. Malt dominates the taste mild bitterness at the end. Medium palate. Not bad for a light.

mattyhennessy (376) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - MAR 23, 2014
Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Grassy, somewhat malty aromas, that are matched by the flavour. Doesn’t manage to overcome the watery body of light beers

Tap @ brewery. Little bit of malt on the front palate with an unsurprising hollow mid palate but nice bitter hops to finish. If you had to I suppose you would.

Sevenlee (1735) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAY 19, 2013
Pours a hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is faint malt, grass and some slight hints of fruit. Taste is pretty bland as to be expected. To be honest, it’s not too bad for a low alcohol beer but in the end it’s still a low alcohol beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow with small white head and some lace. Aromas of light floral and noble hop characters, grain and crackers. Light body, some light powdery yeast character, Finishes clean, refreshing with a hint of grain cracker and light sweetness.

Bottle- pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. mild aroma of citrus, grain and a bit of malt sweetness. Quite clean. Taste has a mild crsipness with a light malt sweetness and a bit of grain. Has an easy bitterness and a dry finish. Light body, crisp and smooth. Has a bit more character than most light beers. Fairly bland but not bad for the style. Not normally a beer I would seek out but came as part of a six pack sampler.

330ml bottle. A clean yellow body with a medium-sized short lasting white head that leaves a reasonable lace. Nose is light grainy malts with a light lemony citrus hop presence. Palate is clean and medium-light bodied with an attenuated German pilsner-like taste. For a light beer, at least it has a semblance of dry hop bitterness to the finish. Could do a lot worse.
