1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Grassy, somewhat malty aromas, that are matched by the flavour. Doesn’t manage to overcome the watery body of light beers

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap @ brewery. Little bit of malt on the front palate with an unsurprising hollow mid palate but nice bitter hops to finish. If you had to I suppose you would.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pours a hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is faint malt, grass and some slight hints of fruit. Taste is pretty bland as to be expected. To be honest, it’s not too bad for a low alcohol beer but in the end it’s still a low alcohol beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle- pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. mild aroma of citrus, grain and a bit of malt sweetness. Quite clean. Taste has a mild crsipness with a light malt sweetness and a bit of grain. Has an easy bitterness and a dry finish. Light body, crisp and smooth. Has a bit more character than most light beers. Fairly bland but not bad for the style. Not normally a beer I would seek out but came as part of a six pack sampler.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle. A clean yellow body with a medium-sized short lasting white head that leaves a reasonable lace. Nose is light grainy malts with a light lemony citrus hop presence. Palate is clean and medium-light bodied with an attenuated German pilsner-like taste. For a light beer, at least it has a semblance of dry hop bitterness to the finish. Could do a lot worse.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Clear orange with a decent white head. Aroma of butterscotch, honey and lemon. Taste is quite fruity with apricot and pineapple. The flavours in the aroma are there too. Slight bitter finish. First sip is pretty convincingly beery and it’s not as watery as expected. One is more than plenty, but this OK for what it is.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this bottle for about a year just lying about, and for a beer of such meagre strength I hope it held up.
A soppy, loose, bubbly off-white crown forms atop its dull and hazy medium gold body. Head is mostly lasting. Very bready, yeasty, sourdough nose with underlying pineapple candy fizz-whizz. Predominantly hoppy palate, mild showing of grain, mid-palate is bready and yeasty like the nose but is drowned out by some very duty, herbal and chewy hops. Pinenut and camphor swallow and linger, good bitterness on and in the swallow with some floury, sourdough and feint pineapple residing in the mouth. Not light in body, it has certainly got a weight to it not quite fitting to its final ABV. A strange light beer, quenching but not altogether refreshing! (33cL, no date stamp, Dan Murphy’s Mandurah)
