COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gippsland Gold is an Australian style bitter pale ale, vintaged over an extended period of time, with a creamy round flavour and pleasant hop bitterness. An easy drinking and thirst quenching beer.

For a locally made brew it was really suprising, a definate ale taste of hops yet mellowed with a nice sweet aroma and aftertaste. Well worth any palate at this price.

Nice strong malty after taste on this brew. For a beer priced at $2.50 you are definitely getting your money’s worth.

Top quality English-style Aussie pale ale/bitter. Lovely crystal malts. I’m very impressed with this brewery.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2003 Love the strong dry finish on this beer. This is a brewery that's going to get pretty popular pretty quickly, and this is the mainstay release from it.

Dark amber colour, light head. Pleasant, but not especially memorable. Tested against a particularly strong chilli, which may have something to do with the fact that I can hardly taste my tongue right now

Nice beer with a decent malt and hop flavour, a pretty good english style bitter in the end.

Malt aroma from the bottle. Bronze body with marshmellowy head. Flavour is both strongly malty and bitter almost simultaneously. Very bitter aftertaste and there was a tingle in my mouth. A classic Aussie Bitter.
