At Food & Drink Fest Hamilton. Grassy and earthy notes in the aroma and taste is great. Very smooth and drinkable.

Tap, pours a golden colour, bit of head at first, really wasnt a fan of this, the flavour was very grainy or something, it had no hop taste at all, it was very harsh and tough to drink. I wouldnt recommend this one.

500 ml bottle - pours a clear medium gold with a thick two-finger white head. Aroma of wet hay, pale malt, some grassy hops. Flavour clean and direct, mostly malt with a subtle hop presence. Slightly biscuity finish. Not the sort of beer to be pondered, but one to be quaffed. Would be quite a lovely hot weather throwback. GR does it again.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is light and a bit fruity. Sort of lightly grainy and a bit zesty. There is a touch of noble flavour as well. Well- balanced and clean. There is a bit of crackery malt character and some herbal spiciness. Actually, a great kolsch.

Bottle, from the brewery. Light yellow, small white head. Strong yeasty aroma, minerals, light hops as well. Taste is crisp over a medium body, good amount of hopping. Mineral taste dominates as well and I am not sure the hard water Grand River uses works really well with this one. Both otherwise a decent brew that is hard to distinquish from Grand River’s other flavourful light lagers.

nice brew here, really tasty and light session brew, slight adjunct taste, excellent refreshing balance of cereal like malts and light noble/hallerteau style hops. good stuff, i might try some more kolsches now!~

Pours clear and golden. My wife figured out exactly what it smells like - yogurt. The taste was smooth and creamy, not unlike yogurt. Would get this again.

Draught at The Winking Judge in Hamilton. Golden colour with not much retention on the white head. Grainy taste a little malt. Pretty basic, not bad though.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy golden color Kolsch with a nice medium foamy head with OK retention and some good lacing. Aroma of cereal and grain is quite dominant with light sweet undertones. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with light grainy notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not my favourite style but well brewed and easily drinkable.

Solid very easy drinking beer. Golden with big white head minimal lacing. Mild aroma biscuit, sweet malt, grass, and light fruitiness not sure what. Little fruity, malty, very mild grassy bitterness with a medium crisp body. Mild flavor but drinkability is very high.
