2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cartoonkhaki (1177) - Brantford, - SEP 2, 2008
500 mL bottle from brewery.
Clean amber with small slightly off-white head. Fruity aroma of something berrish with some beer malts in it. Flavour was more beer then berry. There was somthing there but I couldn’t quite place it. Body was decent but I would not drink this again. It seemed to artificial.

Nice summer beer. Fruit taste, but not overpowering. Sampled in person at GR brewing in Cambridge, ON.

Pale orange pour with a tight head. The aroma is very fruity with a lot of fruity berry character and a touch of lemon citrus as well. A lot of fruity sweetness but the wheat is pretty well defined in here as well. it’s okay, but I’m not loving it.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours golden with a thin trace of lace. Aroma of berries and bread. The flavour has less berries than the nose would lead you to believe, but that isn’t a totally bad thing.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sammy (6129) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 30, 2009
On tap at C’est What. Light colour with rising carbonation bumbles and mushroom room. Slight aroma of fruit and wheat. Muthfeel is creamy, taste is a tart wheat, and so what was intended. Easy drinking but not something I personally would seek out on a regular basis. The natural bitter water and the enoz salt mineral carbonation combined together to create a good amount of gas and burping.

Bottle. This is an amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is full of raspberries with wheat and honey. It’s medium bodied. The flavour has more honey with assorted berries, some grass, a slight bitterness in the finish.

slightly hazy amber pour, aroma of berries, and honey. Flavor is sweet, butnot too sweet, not cloying at all, a very well balanced summer beer. Great stuff.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tupalev (2730) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2008
On tap at the Castle on King and in bottles from the brewery. Golden yellow pour, good sized white head. Nice berry on the nose - very much in the background with some wheat and sweetness. Taste is nice - actually quite malty with again, the berry in the background. Very drinkable. A really nice fruit beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (7001) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2008
A hazy murky golden ale with a thick creamy white pinkish head. A pleasant sourish lactic fruit aroma, with light perfumey tones. In mouth, a good crisp malt with light berry acidic points, very classy. Overall, this brewery impresses, even with a mundane fruit beer. Bottle brought to me by Probstk.
