Bejaaamin (110), London, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2009 On tap at Chanceys. Pours out yellow, nice big head. Nose is citrus, grass, bread dough. Flavours are very sweet, bread, tropical fruits, herbal. Fine balance. Nice easy going beer that could be drunk all day. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA May 31, 2009 Bottle thanks to matt7215. Pours an expected blonde with thick white head. Aroma strong of grass, hay, malt, and ever so slight hops. Flavor similar with the addition of some sweetness and a wheat flavor that I wasn’t expecting. Very refreshing and enjoyable. beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 20, 2009 Hazy blonde pour with a thin white head. Solid aroma of hay, pilsner malt, noble hops and mild honey. The flavor feels less sharp and fresh than the aroma, but the hay, malt and hops are there. The body is light with a creamy texture and medium carbonation. Very entertaining and well made. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA May 16, 2009 Updated: May 18, 2009500 ml bottle from HogTownHarry! Nose of floral hops and fresh baked Wonder bread that I smelled as a kid living by a bakery in Sacramento. Hazy gold with a medium glass lacing offwhite head. Flavor is lightly bitter with some yeast and a touch of butter and a hint of background sweetness. Finish lightly bitter. Ughsmash (3981), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 8, 2009 Thanks to Mat for the bottle, bottled on 4/21/2009. Poured clear, bright golden with a fluffy cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft bready malts with splashes of earth, flowers, and quite a bit of buttery character.. almost smelled sticky. The flavor picked up sweet bready and honey notes at the core with floral and light peppery bitterness surrounding.. got buttery at the end, but it seemed to work. Light-bodied and sticky on the palate with not much more than mild bitterness.. clean and very easy-drinking. robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Mar 30, 2009 On tap at C’est What? Bright golden pour, with a bright white head. Great aroma of grassy hops, and bready malt. The flavor is full of more outstanding bready, chewy malts, and some more of the grassy hops. A medium to low bitter finish. Man this is crisp, and I could drink this until i fell off my bar stool!! outstanding Pils! radiomgb (1921), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Mar 21, 2009 Golden-yellow in colour with a long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is grassy, herbal, wheaty, some perfume, crisp with some pale malts. The flavour is crisp and very clean with a hoppy bite, grass, herbs and pale malts. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter, lingering and quite clean.
An excellent pilsener, very fresh and very well balanced. One of the more enjoyable pilseners that I have had to date.
