Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Matt7215. Pours gold with a nice frothy off white head. Smells of pumpkin pie spice, some caramel. Tastes of pepper, dry malt, some spice. Decent. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 27, 2008 A golden amber ale with a thin white head. Caramel malt aroma melds with light pumpkin spices. In mouth, a good crisp malt with a good balance of pumpkin spices, cinnamon, nutmeg. Medium bodied. On tap at Wellington Gastropub, 6.30$ pint. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 21, 2007 A malty-spicy aroma. A slightly brown appearance with lace and decent head. High carbonation. Sourish taste that barely let out the spices. Radek Kliber (3928), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Oct 3, 2007 On tap at Cest What

HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 6, 2007 Draught. At C’est What Beer thing September 2007. Clear light copper with a small white head. Decent aroma of pumpkin pie spices (not actual pumpkin, really) and light rye. Mild, sweet and spicy flavour, not as pumpkin-y as the aroma - just spicy and sweet. Light, almost watery body, with a very quick finish. This one didn’t impress me that much. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2007 Updated: Oct 4, 20092009-10-01. No notes. Much more mildly spiced than I remember the sample at Cask Days being, but I may be confusing it with something else since I don’t have notes below for that. Pleasantly quaffable, I look forward to more of this. Cask at C’est What
2007-10-XX. Draught at Cest What. Pint and a sampler. Orangey body with a smallish head, big fruity aroma like sweet orange with a hint of pumpkin. Sweet bready malt underlies a surprisingly bitter flavour. Modest ambiguous spice in the flavour - just a bit more noticeable in a second glass. Smooth average palate is lightly carbonated (3+). Very lovely and quaffable, but a touch less assertive in the pumpkin and spice department than I had hoped. Went back for more later. 8/3/7/3+/16-17 blankboy (3165), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 5, 2007 Draught at ’C’est What? Festival of Small Breweries’. Pours a clear amber-orange with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, more fruit and light hops. Flavour of pumpkin, bready malt, light spices and light hops. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good, a well done Pumpkin Ale. DougShoemaker (2855), Toronto, Canada Feb 20, 2008 Subtle aroma of pumpkin, orange, tiny custard head. Taste is Peach? and some other mixed fruit. Light bodied, sweet. Nice peche, but ain’t a pumpkin ale!
