Cask at GRB cask tasting 2011. Pour hazy golden yellow nice lace with white head. Aroma sour, funk, oak, barnyard, wet hay/straw. Taste sour, funk, barnyard, with a great malt backbone that shines through to balance it nicely, grain/cereal taste. Medium body with a great lingering mouth feel. Very well done brew I enjoyed thoroughly without a doubt beer of the night would love to see more GRB sours great job guys.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this at Grand River’s cask night. Aroma was sour and earthy. The beer was bright yellow and clear and had a small and quickly diminishing head. Taste was sour and citrusy, with the brett taste shining through. A very enjoyable beer

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at GRB’s cask tasting. Nice bright yellow hazed colour with small white head. Aroma is awesome, straight up citrusy, arm pit sourness right up the nostrils, also wild yeast and mild spice. Flavour has all of the above blended beautifully with a quick puckering spritz finish and lingering sour tinge on the palate. I might prefer it with more carbonation on a hotter day. Has a great malt backbone with makes me think of delicious sourdough bread. Very nice stuff.
