Draught at Volo. Pours a deep orange-amber with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of caramel malt, slightly biscuity, along with spices, fruit and light sugary sweetness. Flavor of caramel malt, fruit, light spices and bready notes. Average bodied. Not as spicy as it used to be but it’s still quite enjoyable.

2012-12-22. Crisp Dark amber modest beige head. 3+ Modest spice aroma, malty character has biscuity touches, sort if an English feel to it. Flavour is very similar, mild spice and malty chore, lightly bitter. Average palate modest carbonation. Enjoyable. On tap at Volo, Toronto

bomber from the brewery, since when is grand river doing bombers?? clear orange, small white head, minimal carbonation. sweet amber maltiness, some cinnimon, its light but its there. the flavour is sweet upfront, malt forward, you get some orange zest, the spice is there in the finish, maybe to much as it become a little astringent late. the finish is off dry and lingers. this is a pleasent winter beverage, its not the spice bomb of 07, its not the unique 08, its but its not the dopplebock version of 2010 or the spice dopple of 2011. jubliation is back to its roots and this is the most festive vintage in a long while.
