500ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear deep amber with small off white head that quickly fades. Nose is caramel and roasted malts with floral hops . Sweet toffee, vanilla and some banana with a light citrus bitterness in the finish. Slightly watery slick mouth with soft carbonation. Hops never really come through in the taste.

Pours sunburst brown with a one finger mushy cap. Taste is interesting for an amber ale: a broil of malts & hops that may not be as deep as hoped for but that is interesting. Seems almost stuck in the border blur of styles --maybe this a really good bitter? Another salt of the earth offering from these guys.

Botltle shared with Tom10101, thanks! Pours amber. Light beer, kind of hoppy with a touch of lavender. Soapy texture. A bit watery. Ok beer.

500 ml bottle. Pours a just barely orangey gold with a rocky beige head. Aroma of caramel malts and yeast. Flavour is slightly bitter with hints of roast. Body is on the light side of medium. Finish is bitter.

Bottle (500 ml). Extra from TheJester, thanks Andy! Clear amber with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma of caramel, mild nuts, earthy notes and floral presence. Taste is mild and slightly sweet with caramel, light nutty presence, earthy notes and light floral presence. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is a tad watery. Decent Amber Ale. Mild, but nothing off and quite drinkable.

Belle couleur, bonne odeur, bonne amertume. Bouteille laide, mais originale surtout le nom. En fait, surprenant comme goût pour la teneur en alcool...

Dark amber colour, slightly cloudy. Nose pretty light, mild toasty with some hops. Taste is bitter up front with toast backing. Lots of biterness continuing through into the finish. Good if it’s intended to be an an ESB, very hoppy but not enough balance for an amber.

Bottle. Amber colour with off white head. Malty, sweet, caramel aroma. Nutty, sweet, toffee, smoky, a little bitter, though a touch thin. Nice though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 500mL bottle a clear reddish amber with frothy beige 2 finger head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, grassy and slightly resinous hops, and a little fruitiness (pear?) in the background. Medium bodied and slightly syrupy on the palate with mild carbonation. The taste is sweet with hop bitterness on the finish. Both sweet and bitter last a long time. Overall, fairly drinkable, but unremarkable.

Slightly hazy amber pour. With a really foamy long lasting head. Malty caramel scent with a touch of hoppy grassiness. Really strong hops in the mouth. Way more than I expected from an amber ale. It’s not overpowering though. No bite in the back of the throat. There’s a sweetness that took a bit to show up. Overall this is pleasant but not exactly what I was looming for.
