500 ml bottle. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is very malty with caramel, roast and a hint of nuts & cereal but there is a bit of floral hops as well. On the palate it is medium bodied, fairly roasty bitter but smooth and a tad watery for me. Meh, wouldn’t buy this one again.

500ml, srcrizz style. Copper amber color with a gray-white head. Toffee, peach and some bready malt. Thin watery body. Slightly sweet an sour with some earthy bitterness. Tastes kind of infected to me.

Bottled sample at ribeye jacks. Pours amber with minimal head that dissipates quickly. Large caramel toffee and malt flavour. Nice and bubbly. Great aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2011 I went directly to the brewery to get some of this. It comes in a 2L growler. Pours a nice deep amber colour with a ton of sticky head. The aroma is very malty, almost like maple syrup, with a bit of hops thrown in. It smells very sweet, and pretty enticing. The taste upfront is sweet, toffee, a touch of caramel, biscuity, then the malts make ways for some huge hops. Amazing malt backbone all the way through though. The finish is very bitter, with a significant hop bite, but also filled with delicious barley malts. The body is sticky with a decently fuller mouth-feel. Wow, this one’s pretty different than anything else I’ve had. Not all that smooth, not exactly easy drinking, but still a pretty amazing brew. It’s just so tasty!

A great amber ale. Starts off caramelly-sweet like a british ale, but ends off with a nice bitter hop finish. Will definitely get this again.

I tried this beer on May 5, 2011 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent brownish-red with a rocky tan cap that laced well. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is quite hoppy with a malt sweeetness in the middle - I was hoping for better.

decent drinking amber ale, this brewery has a very similar malt profile in a lot of thier brews, which is a good one, nice biscuity aftertaste, but i feel like this is a smaller version of the jubilation almost. decent drinker, nice session brew for sure with a decent hop profile to it.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2007 This ale poured a slightly cloudy dark orange colour with a big frothy dense head, light tan in colour. Very hoppy scent at first. Then came the orange citrus and a little spice at the end. First sip was very hopped, quite a bite. Bitter finish with a little roasted malt and toffee. Overall, way too bitter. They really need to back off on the hopps on this one. After 2 - 600ml glasses I couldn’t drink any more. Thats no good when you have just bought almost 2 litres. Flavour after a while is almost acidic.

bottle. Poured hazy orange with a creamy tan head. Fresh herbal hoppy aroma. Average carbonation, sticky palate. Grapefruit, green tea, caramel malt, hint of pepper. A bit of a metallic finish kinda like a dry red wine. Quaffable.
