3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Orange-amber colour, creamy head. Aroma of bready malts. Taste is well-balanced, slight woodiness, bitter finish. Like the description says, simple and straightforward, but quite well done.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Faint hoppy aroma. Cereals, malts and citrus flavors with strong, lasting bitter aftertaste. Pours a hazy orange amber with small receding head. Cask conditionned? Feels like my palate’s been attacked by evil underworld worker trolls. Despite that, good stuff man... Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 mL Bottle. Gold - amber body with a thin but frothy white head. Aroma of pungent hops, sweet light malts, and a sharp astringent note. The flavor is sweet-syrupy but rich malty along with a hop bitter that has a subtle pine character to it. The aftertaste seems rude at first but it quickly tames to a kind of toffy - malt combo. This is where this beer truly shines in its yin-yang balance of near extremes. Long bitter shifting to clean finish. Pugnacious indeed!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: Pours a transparent orange, no head, lots of carbonation. Aroma: Super hoppy. Hoppy hoppy hoppy. Slight hints of banana and cloves. Palate: smooth, slightly dry. Medium-thin bodied. Taste: quite bitter, but not too bitter for me, slightly sweet and salty. Pretty good for an Ontario IPA. Surprisingly good coming from Grand River, given their Cherry Ale was the most noxious beer I’ve ever had. I actually enjoy this one, though there are better IPAs out there.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from LCBO. Clean and crisp with a pale honey amber boday and a thick but quickly dissipating head. Infinitely drinkable with mind cereals and honey in the finish. A good amount of IBU’s to tickle the tounge.. but not overly well developed and rich. Great sharing beer for your n00b friends.
