   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 2/10   PALATE 1/5   OVERALL 5/20
Canmoore (234) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2013
Pours a clear honey colour, with a gorgeous massive fluffy head. Aroma includes notes of ginger bread, cinnamon, and bread crust. Upon tasting I am thrown way off, it is quite sour and tangy. I really think that this beer has become infected. I can taste some notes of Ginger, and what this beer may have ben like. However, the sourness blinds the palate. I will have to re try this beer again to give an accurate review.

Metalchopz (2198) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 18, 2013
Pours a golden colour, barely cloudy, with a big white head that is just slightly off-white. Carbonation is pretty elevated, keeping the head up, seems forever. Lots of stickiness to the glass. Aromas are sweet with the ginger, so not on the spicy side. The taste is on the sour side, so not sure if infected. Mild grain appears with some light ginger. Even some bad vegetable notes. The head gets creamier near the last pour and the brew, cloudier. Wish the ginger was spicier, more real. Not a fan of this one. Had better ginger beers recently, as this seems to be this summer’s faze.

czar (4110) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 9, 2013
pours clear bright golden with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. ginger, bready malts, pepper, spicy, fruity, tingling candied ginger. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, dry tingling ginger and herbal finish. probably the best tasting ginger ale since my childhood..

yrstruly (333) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy gold with powerful fresh ginger aroma. Taste is fairly dry and spicy up front, with the ginger flavor fading quickly and light hop bitterness in the finish. The ginger could have been spicier personally, but this is kind of nice regardless.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden body, medium white head, decent amount of lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, spices, ginger, herbal hops, leather. Taste is on the sour side: ginger, grains, herbal hops, yeast, spices. Decent.

robinvboyer (2985) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear copper pour, small beige head. Earthy ginger, lemon, and toasted cereals. Mouth feel is a little thicker than i expected. Finish is pretty much just earthy ginger, with subtle spice.

500 mL bottle. Lots of these around, suddenly. This one is a little paler than most. Mild ginger in the nose. Probably too lightly carbonated to win over gingerale fans, and too gingery and dry to win over beer fans.
