douglas88 (641), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Apr 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a fizzy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly bready and some hops. The taste is your basic malt with some bready and a bit of sweet citrus. Not bad at all. The girl on the label is hot at least.
Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle from John’s Marketplace--Poured a straw golden slightly orange body with a thin white head. Typical boring golden ale. Drinkable but not delicious. Finished bready and dull. cathcacr (504), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 12, 2008 Among the summery beers I’m trying right now, this is tops so far. Mild but pleasing floral aroma, floral and honey character in the flavor, and a smooth, velvety finish. The brewery had set up a little tasting table at John’s here in town and among the three they had to taste (this, the IPA, and the Bitch Creek ESB) this was the nicest, hence why I brought a bottle home for rating. spikester (364), Salem, Oregon, USA Jul 11, 2008 Nice clean, fairly crisp taste for the style. Has a decent Euro taste going on. Kudos to G.T. Brewing for trying to recreate an often scorned style. Compares favorably to many of the German beers. Nice dry lightly bitter finish. Just as it should be. DA (2280), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jul 8, 2008 Light and refreshing blonde, good crisp straw and wheat flavor, soft hops, grassy with a light citrus fruitiness to them. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Flavors are soft, but have a nice crisp refreshing quality to them. It made a nice hot day brew, but nothing that really stood out. rustychiles (373), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle.
Pours a hazy golden color with a decent white head. Aroma is mostly wheat. Flavor is wheat and corn. Just okay for me.
