COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bitch Creek perfectly balances big malt sweetness and robust hop flavor for a full bodied, satisfying mahogany ale. Like the stream for which it is named, our Bitch Creek ESB is full of character... Not for the timid.

12 oz bottle from Wilbur’s. Brown with ruby hues and a sticky tan head. Earthy piney hops with caramel malts and bread/toast make up the aroma. Medium body with a crispy dry feel. Heavy bitter piney hop flavor with light toasty malts. Pretty solid ESB, though I’ve only had a few

Tap - good size foamy head, very dark amber color, sweet malty aroma and flavor with a good shot of earthy hops - not your typical ESB for sure, very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at brewfest. Orangeish pour with some white head. Lots of malts, but not overpowering. Caramel shines through late.

Draft at beer festival. Poured a slightly clear brown color, wispy off-white head. Aroma was light nutty notes, light sweet malts, watery. Flavor was watery nutty malt notes. Not very good, keg may have been off, drain pour.

Caramel, cereal, nuts, resin, and spruce aromas in moderation greet the nose. The brown ale aspect of this is a nice twist, as it deepens the color and adds depth to the aroma. The taste is a little too subtle for me, but pretty easy to drink for 6.5% ABV. There is something earthy to this that I cannot pinpoint. An enjoyable and unique ale, try it if you have a chance.

Bottle. Pours murky brown with thin, fizzy beige head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is toasted and cereal malts, figs, raisins, floral hops, and light caramel. Flavor is chewy, bready malts forward with good supporting dark fruit esters and floral and earthy hops; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
