Earthy, bready and vegetal aromas from an orange/yellow body with a white head. All the aromas follow into the taste along with lemon and grapefruit. There are also some very earthy, vegetal hop flavors in here. Finishes with a light honey sweetness and tongue gripping almost sour bitterness. This is a fairly big beer and the 8% ABV matches the body perfectly. Stood up well to pizza with jalapenos and Frank’s Hot Sauce on it. Well rounded and well balanced, an enjoyable DIPA.

Bottle from the Bottle Barn. Though brewed in February of this year, the hops held up to make it worthy of a transition to a strong ale. Orange coloured body and a large head. Fruity aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Orange, tangerine, and mango flavours. Not as good at room temperature.

Pours a golden orange with an off white head and sweet aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is bitter sweet, of hops, pine, citrus, malt, and caramel with a heavy bitter floral finish. Very rich and delicious brew.

Pours a bright golden orange with a small head. Nose is light and citrusy and sweet with a touch of pine. Taste is flavorful and bitter sweet, and full of citrus. Carbonation is soft, and texture medium. Finish is moderately long and bitter. Nice DIPA. Quaff Score 7 / 10

A nice scent of hops, citrus, & malts. The taste gets even better. The bitterness shows up at the end but it wasnt as harsh as I thought it would be. The taste is solid. It was pretty balanced. No flavor completely overpowered an other. This drink will tarnish your palate to some degree. It is a IIPA but that’s common for the style.

Tap Pours nice orange ish gold with white lace. The aroma is light, citrus and pale malt. The taste is smooth rounded hops with a full malty supply to compliment the brew. Earthy light sweet grapefruit, a touch of lemon, a tiny bit of near raspberry flavor and a differentiating spice comes out in the finish to make it an extremely complex hoppy beer. The carbonation is friendly and the sparkling aspect brings the grain out in the finish. Really a fully thought out complex ipa.

A new top 10 for me. Though hard to find for me in SC. Pours a deep copper color with small head. Great lacing. Warm brandyish taste with deep malt backbone and spicy / citrus hop.
